Qatar Airways are the flag carrying airline of Qatar. They're well-known for offering a lavish and luxurious service. In 2016 they won numerous awards including the Skytrax award for best business class, and Best Airline in the World from AirHelp Worldwide. In 2017 they continued their success by winning the Skytrax award for the Best Airline, and Best Business Class in the world. Qatar Airways link more than 150 global destinations from their hub at Hamad International Airport with their fleet of over 180 aircraft. From the UK, Qatar Airways are a popular choice for long-haul flights to Africa, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand with a short layover in Doha. Qatar Airways check in options include online, via mobile or at the airport. If you check in online you'll receive a 10% discount voucher to use at Qatar Duty Free. Online check-in is open from 48 hours until 90 minutes before departure. If you're flying to or from the USA or from Doha, check in opens 24 hours before departure. Qatar Airways have an app which you can use to check in. It's available on Android and iOS. Airport check in is free of charge, and typically opens three hours before departure and closes one hour before. Seat pitch (distance between your seat and the one in front) ranges from 31 to 33 inches in economy class, with a seat width of 17 to 18 inches. In business class, seats usually have 60 inches although it can be as much as 78 inches on some flights. First class passengers can stretch out with a seat pitch of 78 to 83 inches.
